TWAICB Director Sandy Sohcot says:
Since January 24th, 11 wonderful Arroyo High School students have been meeting each Tuesday as participants in The World As It Could Be Is Within Reach Rite of Passage Program. As with our first two Rite of Passage classes, the students gain knowledge about what makes community healthy and vibrant, and the importance of being a caring, engaged member of such a community.
Please join us on May 31st, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Arroyo High School for the Culminating Presentation, when the class participants convey how they want to apply what they have learned. Having members of the public attend to help celebrate the youth for their commitment and accomplishments adds greatly to the Rite of Passage experience.
