Moderator : Lina Lenberg has been an educator for 20 years and is a doctoral student in Human Rights Education at USF. She is also a Northern California representative for HRE-USA and a UNA SF Board Member.
PANELISTS
Nancy Flowers is a human rights education writer and consultant for governments, NGOs, and UN agencies. She is a founding member of Human Rights Educators USA, a national human rights education network.
Dr. Susan Roberta Katz is a professor of international and
multicultural education at the University of San Francisco, where she co-founded the first graduate program in Human Rights Education in the U.S.
Cliff Mayotte is an award winning educator and administrator who currently serves as the Education Program Director for Voice of Witness.
Sandy Sohcot is the director and founder of The World as it Could Be Human Rights Education program. She also co- founded the Women’s Leadership Alliance and formerly served as a commissioner on the San Francisco Human Rights Commission.
Erin Vong is the Education Associate at Voice of Witness, with a special focus on oral history for English language learners and leading nationwide programs such as the Sharing History Initiative.
